Doc 1.0 out of 5 stars The handle consists of 4 parts but the screw holes do not align and it is far too flimsey for its purpose. The metal that attaches the scarifier to the handle is so flimsey it bent 4 times on its first use on a small front garden. This item will simply break and your left with the hastle of sending it back etc.I had to hunt around in the box for the screws to assemble the handle and I will be interested to see how well the handle lasts over time but in general this is a very well put together quality device. Upon inspecting the switch, I found that there were no activity lights on the ports at all (the 3 switch status lights on the left were showing fine). After about 3 power cycles I was able to get the switch to work for the rest of the evening, but this morning I woke up to find it was down again. The management port on the back works and I am able to use the serial cable console, but no activity lights on the switch's ports. The log shows nothing outstanding. I did a 'unconfigure switch all' and rebuilt everything from the factory settings, but that didn't seem to work either.

Maintaining your bicycle regularly will keep it riding (and riding well) a lot longer and will give you more range compared to a bike with empty tires and jammed brakes. The actual maintenance interval may vary depending on your riding habits, road quality and weather conditions. We have also hand-picked and trained a number of bike shops as our official partners. Check them out here. Every once in a while, clean (with a non-metallic tool) and lubricate the charging port with a multi-purpose oil (multi-spray, for example). Depending on how and where you ride your bike, the tyres can wear at a different pace. If you notice the tread worn out, change the tyres. Spin the pedals around a couple of times to spread the lubricant evenly. You can apply a thin coating of dry silicone spray to the tooth side of the belt, if necessary. To stay safe, get your brakes inspected, serviced and changed, if necessary, at a professional workshop. If you feel that your brakes aren’t efficient anymore, get a professional to check them out. There shouldn’t be any dirt or oil on the pads. Oftentimes, brakes make a howling noise if there’s oil on them. If there is too much play in the bolts, tighten them up a little bit and see if you can identify the cause of the looseness. Don’t tighten the bolts too far. Due to Bluetooth, the bike uses some power even when switched off. Do not keep the charger outside. This is completely normal and won’t affect the battery’s overall state or lifespan.

You can also service your bike in Ampler Showroom in Berlin or at one of our official service partners listed here. However, if you use your bike regularly, make sure it is well-maintained. As corrosion hits calipers, nuts and bolts the quickest, it’s important to clean your bike regularly. Silicone spray can help prevent rust on those parts, but it’s important to be careful when applying to avoid getting it anywhere near the braking system. Over time, disc brakes become less efficient at braking. To stay safe, get your brakes inspected and serviced regularly at a professional workshop. If the chain feels a little dry, wipe it with a rag and then add some chain lubricant. Spin the pedals around a couple of times to spread the lubricant evenly. Make sure you fit the right size. It is completely normal and won’t affect the battery’s overall state or lifespan. Do not keep the charger outside. During this time, Ampler Bikes is liable for replacing or repairing the components subject to the warranty. In case of delivery damages, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately after the arrival of the package (within one week). Proof of purchase is necessary. Ampler Bikes requires a record of the damages on a photo or a best possible alternative proof. In case damages have occurred, the bike should not be used before repair. Ampler Bikes is your contact for all defects and will handle the processing of the damages. We will instruct you regarding the repairs procedure after we have received your notification of a defect. The defective component will be replaced with another original component or with another equivalent component. This is because not all workshops have the necessary tools and parts for a correct repair. Moreover, non-authorized repairs hinder our ability to review the defect and decide whether it falls under the warranty. Warranty does not apply in cases of modifications, improper assembly or incorrect maintenance.

Where the claim is deemed not to be warrantable, we will look to offer a reduced cost replacement. Specifically, no cash refunds are offered in case of defects under this warranty. The capacity will be tested by a battery capacity analyser at Ampler service points. Other components (such as components attached to the frame and fork) are not covered under the extended warranty. Please note that the exclusion listed in these terms and conditions also apply to the extended warranty (such as mechanical wear and crash damages). The warranty will be declined in case of normal wear, tear, neglect, abuse, misuse or crash damages. As these parts sooner or later reach the end of their service life, the normal level of wear is dependent on time, the care taken and maintenance used by you and subject to their exposure to rain and water, dirt and mud, sand and dust. Read further about how to take care and maintain your bike in the Ampler Bikes service manual. The guarantee may be declined also in case the damages were caused by using the bike after any damages had occurred. Warranty requests submitted after expiry of the warranty term will be denied. Please note that if any damages occur due to the fault of materials or workmanship during the guarantee period, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately. In case damages have occurred, the bike should not be used before repair. You can add an ABUS Bordo 6000 lock to your order when buying your Ampler. Make sure to lock your bike tightly onto a fixed object. This will alert us when someone tries to get any service with the stolen bike. We will switch off the Bluetooth ID of your bike, so that the thief wouldn’t be able to use the bike with the motor support In general we ask for the serial number on all bike-related service requests. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. Distractions can cause you to lose control. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. Use of a GFCI reduce the risk of electric shock.

While the tool may appear to work, the electrical components of the AC rated tool are likely to fail and create a hazard to the operator. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. Use of dust collection can reduce dustrelated hazards. Slippery hands cannot safely control the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation. Holding the work by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

When cleaning a tool be careful not to disassemble any portion of the tool since internal wires may be misplaced or pinched or safety guard return springs may be improperly mounted. Certain cleaning agents such as gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, ammonia, etc.Loss of control can cause personal injury. Holding the work by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control. If this situation is unavoidable, disconnect all fuses or circuit breakers feeding this worksite. Water entering an electrical device may cause electrocution. Never attempt to operate this tool with one hand. The slip clutch engages if you firmly control the tool during a torque reaction or kickback. Use a dust mask or respirator for applications which generate dust. Safety goggles or eye protection will help deflect fragments of the material that may be thrown toward your face and eyes. Dust generated or gases released from the material you are cutting (i.e. asbestos insulated pipes, radon) may cause respiratory difficulties. Vibration caused by hammer-drill action may be harmful to your hands and arms. Do not wrap the cord around your arm or wrist. If cord becomes entangled with the spinning bit it could entrap you causing serious personal injury. Should the bit become bound or jammed in the work, the reaction torque of the tool could crush your hand or leg. Fragments of metal from the bit could dislodge and strike you or bystanders. Dull or damaged bits have a greater tendency to bind in the workpiece. The spinning drill bit may become entangled with clothing and injury may result. Some examples of these chemicals are: To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the tool better and safer.

Such preventive safety The tool speed can be controlled from the minimum to the maximum nameplate RPM by the pressure you apply to the trigger. Accessories are available for driving screws as well as running bolts and nuts. Pull outward on the accessory to be certain it is locked into the bit holder (Fig. 2). WARNING use. Avoid contact with skin All accessories should be wiped clean after removing. The Vario-Lock position is intended for use with chipping bits such as bull points, spades, gouges, etc. Next, rotate the locking sleeve, along with the accessory, to the desired position. Then turn the selector lever to the “hammer only” setting and slightly turn the locking sleeve to have it automatically lock into a definite position. Next rotate the bit holder’s locking sleeve (clockwise) until it stops. Then press slightly inward towards back of tool until it locks in place. The output spindle will stop rotating if the accessory binds and overloads the tool. Depending on the room temperature, this time may vary from approximately 15 seconds (90?F) to 2 minutes (32?F). A new hammer requires a break-in period before full performance is realized. This period may require up to 5 hours of operation. The long wear and efficient operation of the BOSCH hammers will more than justify the cost for tools of this type. As earlier pointed out, sharp accessories as well as clean air vents are necessary for efficient operation. Establish and follow a set maintenance program. WARNING performed by unauth- We recommend that all tool service be performed by a Bosch Factory Service Center or Authorized Bosch Service Station. It is recommended that tools with gears be regreased with a special gear lubricant at every brush change. To maintain peak efficiency of the motor, we recommend every two to six months the brushes be examined. Only genuine Bosch replacement brushes specially designed for your tool should be used.
