Use to skip backwards through your messages and for setting the time. Also used to switch the audible message alert on or off. Helps you to follow instructions more easily. During playback of your OGM press the Delete button. Your Response 123e will return to the pre-recorded outgoing message (which is then announced). Again, still also available in CB (no dial) form, it was a robust design which is still in use today in the UK, suitably modified for use with the New Plan BT sockets.
